Over the last four years Giga Training have delivered BTEC’s Subsidiary Diploma in Music Technology to Post 16 students at Christian Brothers School, Glen Road, Belfast. The innovative course includes units in Studio Production and Recording, the Music Business, Live Music Performance and Live Sound Techniques.
Check out some pics from a recent workshop when the students got their hands on a full live PA sound system, learning how to use a talkback system, auxiliary and master effects, as well as sound checking musicians.
To date Giga Training has taught over 40 students on the BTEC programme with a 100% pass rate, 50% of which achieving an overall Merit or above.
