Belfast Festival of Learning returns for a third year in 2018, with a range of fantastic events throughout the city. The festival takes place between 5th-11th March, with events happening across greater Belfast, with an aim to encourage the participation of groups and individuals who have experienced barriers in accessing learning opportunities.
As part of the programme we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a very special FREE DJ workshop in conjunction with The Black Box, on Friday 9th March. The workshop takes place from 11am-1pm and is aimed at adults with learning difficulties.
The workshop will give participants the opportunity to get hands on experience of club DJing. Giga Training’s tutors will show each participant how to choose music, use the equipment and perform a DJ set. They will also provide advice on how to kick-start a career in DJing and how to access further training in Northern Ireland.
All equipment will be provided, including full DJ set ups and sound system, plus all the music required to make your own live DJ mix.
The workshop will take place at the Black Box, 18-22 Hill St, in Belfast city centre.
Places for the workshop are limited so registration is essential. Individuals or groups can book places for the programme using the link above.
