As part of their groundbreaking “Get Started” Programme, The Prince’s Trust teamed up with Giga Training to deliver a Film Making programme in Belfast for young people aged 16-20 who are currently not in education, employment or training.
The course was designed to give participants a unique insight into one of the most sought after careers in the entertainment industry today, with hands on experience and training using state of the art equipment endorsed by film makers around the globe.
During the 5 day long programme those taking part will not only gain a range of new skills but an OCN accredited qualification to boot. The Prince’s Trust will also supplied three months of support after the programme to help participants move into education, employment or training.
A gala red carpet event took place where participants, family and friends had the opportunity to celebrate the films the group and created along with a mini Oscars ceremony
Participants developed. planned, scripted and edited a range of short films over week which can be view alongside a behind the scenes documentary below.
