As part of their groundbreaking “Get Started” Programme, The Prince’s Trust teamed up with Giga Training to deliver a Film Making programme in Belfast for young people aged 16-20 who are currently not in education, employment or training.
The course is designed to give participants a unique insight into one of the most sought after careers in the entertainment industry today, with hands on experience and training using state of the art equipment endorsed by film makers around the globe.
During the 5 day long programme those taking part will not only gain a range of new skills but an OCN accredited qualification to boot. The Prince’s Trust will also supplied three months of support after the programme to help participants move into education, employment or training.
The “Get Started in Film” takes place from Monday 9th November to Friday 13th November at the Strand Arts Centre, Belfast. The course is free with travel costs covered and lunch provided for each participant.
