The Ableton Level 1 course is designed to get students up and running making music in any style using the groundbreaking Live software as their main tool.
All equipment is provided, including and MacBook running Ableton Live 8, a MIDI controller keyboard and headphones. We also encourage people to bring along their own gear, so if you have your own laptop, an APC40, a MicroKorg or anything else, feel free to bring it along.
Course content will include all the basics of Music Production in Ableton such as Warping, using loops, MIDI sequencing, plus a look at Ableton’s powerful synths and on board FX plug ins. We’ll finish things off with some basic arranging techniques and exporting to ensure you will take a finished track home with you.
This course costs only £25 per week for an hour and a half session and the group size is limited to 6 per course. A monthly payment plan can be set up to help spread the payments over the duration of the course. Courses paid in full upfront get a 10% discount paying a total amount of only £180!!
