Tech Connects - North Talks Too

From September to December 2020 we delivered a series of digitally creative action packed Tuesday nights at Girdwood Community Hub as part of Belfast City Council’s  Peace IV Tech Connects good relations programme.

Young people aged between 6-11 from the Old Park, Cliftonville & New Lodge areas of the city came together to take part in socially distanced workshops in animation, music production, graphic design, film editing, planning & storyboarding. Young people looked at themes such as identity, as musical cultures from around the world creating digital content such as comics, electronic music compositions, as well as video content.

We rounded the programme off with a trip to VR city to check out the latest in what virtual reality games design had to offer.
