We had a great time working with young people from Holy Child P.S. on behalf of the Boys & Girls Club in partnership with The Bytes Project. Young people got to experience a variety of creative and digital arts including learning Graphic Design and Music Production skills. On week one the young people learned graphic design skills using Canva app. The group put the skills to use designing collages for our “Six Sides of Me” exercise. On week two the young people created Digital Comics in the style of a geography based infographic looking at countries from around the world. On week three the group got to create their own electronic music tracks using the Launchpad app. Week four saw the group create their own animation video using Stop Motion app. Weeks five and six was Minecraft focused as the young people created flags to represent a country of the world and rollercoasters because who doesn’t like a rollercoaster?
