Black Moon Summer Camp

Black Moon is a night for and by adults with learning disabilities – giving people a chance to socialise in a cool, modern environment, meet new people and learn new skills. It was set up by the Black Box in 2010 with support from the Now Project. Groups are now coming from Omagh, Bangor, Carrickfergus and beyond each month and  are often joined by Mencap’s Livenet project.

Giga have been working with the Black Moon group over the last year to deliver DJ skills workshops to the group with participants gaining skills and confidence to perform at Black Moon gigs across Northern Ireland. Workshops were delivered as part of Black Moon’s 2016 Summer Camp with participants completing DJ mixes – give them a  listen below!
