We had a great time working with young people from Holy Trinity College and Cookstown High in partnership with BEAM Creative Network. We covered a lot in one day! The Beam and Giga teams worked collaboratively throughout the day to deliver a range of good relations focused drama, interactive discussion and digital art exercises. The group got to learn a variety of creative and digital arts skills including Graphic Design via the Canva app; by which they got the chance to create their own collages based on their interests and aspirations. The young people also got to grips with Music Production skills by creating their own electronic music track in the Launchpad app. The group used their newly acquired graphic design skills to good use by designing a piece of artwork for their tracks in the style of an album cover. We also had a complimentary Kahoot quiz based on how we are influenced from cultures from around the world through the medium of music. You can check out amazing content they created below!
