Introduction to Final Cut

Final Cut Training Belfast

This intensive one day course will cover everything required to edit in Apple’s industry standard Final Cut Pro. The programme focuses on configuring Final Cut settings, working with the FC interface, importing, arranging and editing footage, as well as transitions, filters and effects.

No experience of Final Cut  is necessary and all equipment is provided. Each workstation will consist of an iMac running Final Cut Pro.

Course tutor: Michael MacBroom

Michael is a Belfast based film maker. After completing an Honours Degree at Queen’s University in Film Studies, he has spent his time writing, producing, directing, and editing feature length digital films and has recently returned from working with American independent cinema stalwart, Rob Nilsson, in San Francisco as a full time editor on his recent feature ‘The Steppes’.
