Introduction to DJing

This intensive one day course will cover everything required to get started DJing on a range of industry standard equipment . The course focuses on getting to grips with technical set up, beat mixing and track selection.

No experience of DJing is necessary and all equipment is provided. Each workstation will consist of industry standard DJ equpment including Pioneer CDJ 1000s + 800s, Pioneer DJM 600s + 800, Vestax PMC06, Traktor Pro, Traktor Kontrol X1.

Course tutor: Gleave Dobbin

Gleave is one of the true godfathers of Irish dance music. The man from Larne is a cornerstone of the club scene in NI and has played alongside every big name in the business, has toured with Prodigy & The Utah Saints, with numerous festival appearances including Planet Love, Global Gathering, Gatecrasher & Tidy Weekenders. He has played afar a field as Australia and Egypt as well as being a regular face on the Ibizian summer terraces.
