Southern Partnership - Filmmaking

Giga Training was contracted by Investing in Our Future & the Southern Partnership for a large scale Peace III funded Good Relations Project.

The programme was delivered across the Southern Partnership Area – Newry and Mourne, Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council areas, and included delivery of eight Good Relations focused film making projects.

The overall aim of the project was to explore what sectarianism and racism means through cultural sharing, exploration and understanding, using the medium of film.

80 people, of varying ages, took part in the programme and produced a diverse range of films, addressing cultural issues through fictional, documentaries and spoken work / visual films.
